Yeah nice adaptation of the well-know runnning/avoid games. It reminds me the most of Agent Run. With the shoot-out mechanic every now and then. Well first you want to read the good stuff right?
The best part of this game is definitly the gamefeel (aestetics) and the overal (visual)design. It brings me to this arabian medieval time. kind of reminds me of Alladin on the 16bit consoles and it has a little assassins creed feel to it aswel. The animation at the beginning is astounding and it's a pity it's all I ever saw.
Well here comes the run-down of things I didn't like so brace yourself.
The music was a good design, but grew old very quickly. Mostly becaus eI just heard one loop over and over again. Yes I know about the limits of uploads but be creative. Temple run uses ambient noises that's a way to solve it. Also de loop was constant even when I died it didn't really felt like the game stopped, even when I am in the shop it's the same loop.
Okay so I put the musicoff, just to have it turned back on automatically everytime I die. That is really a pet peave of mine. made me stop the game.
Okay next: what is up with the audio anyway? the sounds are all good, although I swear the coinsound is from agent run. but listen to her steps.. is she a horse? she gallops, it is so against what I visually see. It breaks the immersion for me. A pity of the great opening sequence which brought me in so good.
Okay you might find me nitpicking for that but it made me want to stop playing an potentially good game.
Well my biggest point of feedback is the story by itself, now this isn't nitpicky this is really an issue:
Wha tis the story? what is happening? Why did I die at first without knowing what to do?
Why do I transform into a lycan? At DAY!? do I hold an artifact? Do I posess powers? Why am I wanted? what is happening in this world? Why am I shooting at wanted posters? Do I become less wanted?
Look in Agent Run you shoot bases because you need tot destroy enemy hideouts. And in Temple run the story is explained in the first seconds of the game. You stole an artifact( from the moment you press play) and the monkeys are chasing you down.

I think if you immersed me more, or at least keep the immersion going throughout the whole game it could have been one of my favorite games today. I most likely begged you to port it to android ;)

At last something you might take into consideration: you chose a top down view, but kept al the elements as if it was a 3rd person view game. Al the gamemechanics of 3rd person view games. Take in consideration, why you chose this style? and how you can benefit from it more. I think some things were confusing at start (like I can run under bridges but I need to slide under signs, how am I supposed to see the difference?) But I see loads of possabilities aswel (such as moving diagonally or switch camera modes to sidescrolling anything to keep it more interesting)

At last I'm sorry I didn't play enough to see the boss. I would've love to see how you did that. But I just couldn't reach that point.

I hope I am of some help with my full on rant, It's not for me to vent my thoughts but more to give you some perspective for possible future endeavours :) Good Luck!!

I loved the idea and the way it looks andplays is not bad at all.
I think the greatest touch must be the 'players' showing their emotion right before they dare and enter my deadzone.
It has a developing story which I am always fond of, but I never saw the end of it because the gameplay is so repetative. kill players, kill dummies, kill monsters rinse repeat. Get some item which doesn't change how the game feels it just boosts you a bit.
Not even the archievements got me continuing. So you got me excited, now try to maintain that excitement throughout the game

This is the only level, Karioshi Suicide Salaryman..
They've done this better... so now it's up to you to make it different from what is. or better than is.
Nothing new or interesting.

Usability: Good that you kept with the flashgames consistency of using the arrowkeys and x.
It felt naturally and good.
The game is easy to learn and I can get to it pretty fast.
What I hated was the controls. For me, left and right is running up is jumping and down is crouching. now when I was walking vertically I had to use up and down. It took me 5seconds to get used to but it was 5 seconds of total frustration.
Plot:
Sucked. I mean ok, it can be seen as a little joke, who needs a plot anyways. But if you are going to bore me with a story at least make it worth my while. (maybe the little chick-master returns with phrases as I collect eggs for him). it was good that I was able to skip. so another usability point. but how was I to know that it had so little to do with the actual game.
Difficulty:
The game has a very very short learning curve. a.k.a. it's easy.
It actually so easy that I run through the levels without dying. I don't even have to stop an think just go. This also has benefits. Everyone can enjoy the game. And the (for me personally) awkward arrowkey use was easy to overcome.
Downfall is that I stopped at level 38 because it bored me.
Gamefeel:
Well, I don't want to make an all out negative review about a game that is fairly good.
The graphics, music, different enemies that give that little refresh every few levels. It's clear to me that this isn't some 'my first flash' game. This is the real deal. and I feel that throughout the game.
Just consider a few of the things I said and it's going to be a great game!

Well, a lot of things have been said about how this game may feel cheap in gameplay.. Especially with the lightning/electricity that mess you up biggie.. It does give this a certain level of difficulty that is appealing, but it also frustrates us as players.
I'd like to add 2 more things to this which are just as important.
1: Sound effects. This game has great music and graphics.. but I don't feel this game because there are no sound effects. a great deal of gamefeel has been missed out.
2: Usabilty/Conveyance in the intro. You've added a very good short intro about how to play. This is good, but also confusing. I thought I had to push up&down alternately as fast as I could. by the time 3 thieves already stole some treasure I found out that it's up to move the machine up and down for down.. lose the confusion about this.

Fix all 3 of these and you have a very good game that should score high on NG.

Great concept, rather refreshing and original.
Now reward us, really reward us. maybe some system to advance as a player.
Different kind of ammo, or enemies perhaps.. or think of something more original you hav eit in you anyways. Blow me away.

No,no,no..

I've got better 'reach the top by jumping platorms'-games on my smartphone!
No music, no good use of graphics. no sound effects.. no immersion at all.
It has no story to it; nothing special to do but jumping platforms.

If you like the way the controls behave and don't want people complaining make it obvious. Such as; the monkey wanted to learn iceskating (it has that feel to it) but also wanted to jump. so he decided to do this because he can. it's easy and not well thought through. but it's a story and it sorta makes sense why the controls behave this way..

Take the idea; work it out thoughroughly.. get yourself to use the graphics better and please use music& sound (the audioportal is full with music you can use here)

Good luck.

Goals

Well you've reached your goal, made a proper 3D game in flash, I also liked how the wheels respond to the keys not bad at all..
I am a great fan of the old arcade racers, Outrun, Ridge Racer well pretty much all of them named. But I was done with this game after ona and a half race. the voice is not good, the gameplay is quickly getting old. Overal the mechanics weren't that good..
I am also a great fan of hardcore music. I even met DJ Paul. but it's one of the main reasons I stopped so soon. It's not contributing to the game, I miss 'feeling' that I am in a fast car driving insane top speeds.

Nevertheless, you made a nice step in 3D flash gaming. it is despite all my critisism the best 3d flash games I have played thusfar.
Keep up the good work

Overal good, with a few minor flaws

Ok, I like this game, it's a basic move with keyboard and point/click to attack. Reminds me a bit of the Madness games or Metal Slug if you will. You can earn cash and expand your overal power/health and perks. I'd say a great feature.

My point of critisism is:
1: This game is nog bug free, 2 times I had to restart when I bought something, the camera got stuck above the 'Bar level' with endless running tot the left, and falling to the right.
2:Right-click has not been disabled, I could skip through all levels and cut-scenes by pressing play. (I figured this out when the bug in point 1 happened the first time)
3:Ok, it's not a bad thing to promote your creations by a link in this game on your logo or whatnot. but not in the UI when it's a point-and-click game. I visited you website 5 times in rage for 1second to find out that Johnny had been killed or serverely wounded (especially during boss-fights).

I hope it's of any use to make a great game, awesome!

Wait what? sync plz!

I experienced it to be a bit out of sync from time to time.
Can't really imagine it's becaus eof my PC though.
Anyway, everything else has been said. Great music! very nice emotional-shift it indeed makes you peaceful. and maybe happy even.
Reversing is very well done, I liked it! Graphics are great.

I'm your average metal guitarist
